Signup Privacy Notice

Your player account

We collect your game username, password, character gender, email address, player nickname, signup date, and acknowledgment of our server rules and this notice. Your nickname can be an alias; you do not need to provide your legal name. Your password is stored in the format required by the game server and is never displayed in your dashboard.

Optional details

You can share your country, Discord username, preferred device, Ragnarok experience, and how you found Rune Haven. We use these details to understand our community, improve onboarding, and investigate player retention. They are not displayed on public rankings or community pages. We do not ask for your address or phone number.

Email and communication

We use your email for account confirmation and account support. News and event emails require the separate optional checkbox; you can change that preference in your dashboard. Leaving it unchecked does not affect your ability to play. Email confirmation is not required to enter the game; eligible pre-registration rewards require confirmation.

Sessions and service providers

Your dashboard uses a necessary sign-in cookie that expires after 12 hours or when you sign out. Our hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the service and deliver email. The game also records login and gameplay information for operation, security, and support. Public pages may use analytics configured by the server team.

Updating your details

You can view and update your player profile and email preferences in your dashboard. For an email change, correction, deletion request, or questions about your data, contact the server team through our Discord. Account and operational records are kept while needed to run the service, support players, and investigate abuse; backups may retain copies until they rotate out.
